Benjamin Moser | Curator, Managing Director

The graduate designer with a master’s degree in trend research and communication has a close connection to the Design Prize Switzerland: as a native of Langenthal, he came into contact with the award and Designer’s Saturday as a child. In 2011, he won the coveted award together with Debora Biffi and in 2015 he was the sparring partner for the prize category Inclusive Design as well as part of the nomination team. Moser is responsible for the Design Preis Schweiz as curator and managing director.

Debora Biffi | Vice President, Creative Director

The graduate designer and trained graphic artist won the Design Prize Switzerland in 2011 together with Benjamin Moser. Biffi has an excellent feel for trends in the areas of food, interior and experience design. In addition to her self-employment, she has worked as an art and creative director in various creative agencies. Debora Biffi’s signature runs like a neon yellow thread from the realignment of the price categories to the development of new event formats and the conception of the new website.

Thomas Walliser | President

The entrepreneur, who is well-known in the Swiss media and furniture industry, was a successful publisher of the magazines Wohnrevue, Modulør and Edelweiss Travel Magazine for ten years. In 2017, he sold his publishing house to the NZZ Media Group and took over the management of NZZ Fachmedien AG. The latter eventually flowed into the joint venture CH Media. Due to the strategic realignment of the magazines, 2021 was the right time for him to reorient himself. In addition to his work for the Design Preis Schweiz, Walliser holds various mandates in the Swiss media and design industry.
