Marie Glaser
Dr. Phil. Marie Glaser has been Head of Housing and Real Estate Fundamentals at the Swiss Federal Office of Housing BWO (Bundesamt für Wohnungswesen) since 2022. Prior to that, she directed the ETH Wohnforum — ETH CASE Centre for Research on Architecture, Society and the & built Environment at the Department of Architecture at ETH. She studied European Cultural Anthropology and Literature in Munich, Washington D.C. and Vienna and is trained in inter- and transdisciplinary research collaboration and museum studies. From 1999 to 2004, she worked at the IFF Faculty for Interdisciplinary Research and Higher Education in Vienna and as co-director of the Master’s Program in Interdisciplinary Research and Science Communication at the University of Vienna. In 2004, she joined ETH CASE Zurich as a researcher and postdoctoral fellow. Together with Prof. Dietmar Eberle, she directed the Master of Advanced Studies MAS ETH Housing program from 2007 to 2015. Her research, publications and teaching focus on social and cultural change and housing, access to affordable and adequate housing for different groups, innovations in sustainable housing.
