Design Retreat 2026

The Design Retreat offers emerging talents of the Swiss design industry, DPS alumni and members of the DPS commu­nity of all ages the oppor­tu­nity to consciously take time offline over several days in a unique setting to reflect together on their own projects and working methods. Experts provide inspiring inputs on Circular Design and inno­va­tion, as well as strate­gies for struc­turing everyday work into a sustain­able and healthy work­flow. Exclu­sive food design insights create a concep­tual bridge between circular economy, produc­tivity, sustain­able consump­tion and design.

In this way, the Design Retreat creates value on several levels:

• Knowl­edge transfer around Circular Design, inno­va­tion and food design is strength­ened.
• Discus­sion of partic­i­pants’ own projects, together with the devel­op­ment of a healthy work culture, leads to new insights.
• The shared expe­ri­ence of the new Design Retreat format sustain­ably expands the network between talents of the Swiss design industry, DPS alumni and experts from various design disci­plines.
