Carried out every two years and taking place at several loca­tions in Zurich, the event aims to sharpen the public percep­tion of design and to stim­u­late discourse and crit­ical debate, high­light design topics in the area of tension between culture and busi­ness and consol­i­date the cultural rele­vance of design. Behind Design Bien­nale Zurich lies the asso­ci­a­tion Freun­deskreis Design.
