After the strik­ingly rounded building from the 1930s was remod­eled, the hotel opened in rich blue in 2003. It quickly became a magnet for modern nomads with style. A nice detail is the zen-like court­yard with birch trees used from the exhi­bi­tion Expo.02. The 5‑story hotel has 28 rooms in different cate­gories and the restau­rant Blau, which offers mainly seasonal as well as regional cuisine.
