Art from the 13th century to the present can be explored here. Among the inter­na­tional focal points are the large collec­tions with works by Munch and Alberto Giacometti. The new exten­sion by David Chip­per­field houses the Bührle Collec­tion, among others. Design lovers are partic­u­larly recom­mended to visit the museum shop and the stylish Kunsthaus Bar.
