Supporting creativity and facil­i­tating market access: to this end, Pro Helvetia has devel­oped a tailor-made support programme for young Swiss designers as part of its focus on “New models of collab­o­ra­tion — culture and busi­ness“. The tools are aligned to the various steps in the devel­op­ment of a new product – concept, proto­type, produc­tion, marketing – and are applied by Pro Helvetia in a targeted fashion with the assis­tance of expert know-how and advice. Together with the Design Preis Schweiz and the Zürcherische Seidenin­dus­trie Gesellschaft ZSIG, the Swiss Arts Council is plan­ning the new DPS format Design Retreat in 2023 which will take place in Basel’s Sutra House.
