The SDA sees itself as a profes­sional asso­ci­a­tion for design, founded in 1966 by renowned person­al­i­ties such as Andreas Christen, Willy Guhl and Kurt Thut. Since then, it has been committed to ensuring that profes­sional designers in Switzer­land are valued and that their concerns are recog­nised and supported. Today, the asso­ci­a­tion repre­sents all areas of design, from product and indus­trial design to textile design, scenog­raphy, inter­ac­tion design and design manage­ment. SDA is the first point of contact for designers seeking support in profes­sional matters and networking. We look forward to contin­uing the part­ner­ship.
