When Theodor Jakob took over the family business in Bern’s Old Town in 1950, he laid the foundation for the development of modern living culture in Switzerland. From the very beginning, the furniture store focused on modern, functional pieces from both Switzerland and abroad, as well as Bauhaus icons – a formula that remains successful to this day.
