Volkshaus Basel
The historic building structure of the boutique hotel is cleverly complemented and revitalized with a contemporary touch.
Designed by the internationally renowned architect duo Herzog & de Meuron, the hotel impresses with its simple yet sophisticated elegance. Each of the 45 rooms has an individual floor plan and lounge chairs designed exclusively for the hotel by the architects. What they all have in common are the generous dimensions, the warm lighting, and the characteristic touch of green in the bathroom.
