Prize Giving Ceremony
What do surgical tools for heart surgery, rethought fashion for people in wheelchairs or a bean-to-bar chocolate project have in common? They all have to do with design, i.e. with the conceptual idea of how new products and projects can improve people’s lives. For a long time now, the concept of design has not only encompassed beautiful, good form, but is understood in a broader and more contemporary way. This is also shown by the two new award categories, Inclusive Design and Food Design, which Design Preis Schweiz has launched with this year’s edition. The winners will be announced on 3 November at the Prize Giving Ceremony in Langenthal’s Markthalle.
