Simon Habegger is a Langenthal native now based in Zurich – a traveler between urban vibrancy and rural grounding. He studied Style & Design at ZHdK, has led major productions, and earned international recognition. Whether in commercial or artistic contexts, he creates spaces where people feel free to show who they are – authentic, clear, and with presence.

Challenge: What’s been on your mind lately?

Honestly? Archives. And AI image generation.

Passion: What do you love about your profession?

The encounters – and I enjoy being on the road.

Dream Collaboration: Who would you love to work with on a project?

I’m curious about research in the field of future studies. Or something with Pagani Automobili.

Dinner Guests: Who from the Swiss and international design scene would you ideally have at your table?

Off the top of my head: Arno Brandlhuber, Katharina Tietze, HR Giger, Zaha Hadid, Aurelia Peter, Luigi Colani

Design Object: Do you have a favorite piece at home – and why are you attached to it?

The Jingzy lamp by Herzog & de Meuron. It’s a great counterpoint to our FFF items that fit in just as they should.

Staycation: Welche Schweizer Stadt oder Region inspiriert dich?

Jura!

Time Travel: What do you think you’ll be doing in five years?

Portraits – I don’t think I’ll ever let go of them. And childcare.
