Alba - where pizza becomes a culinary revolution and the Neapolitan pizzeria is reinvented.

When tasting the dishes in Zurich’s new pizza hotspot, it becomes clear: here, classic Italian recipes fuse with unusual combi­na­tions to create a true taste explo­sion. According to the makers, this is only possible with the right base consisting of first-class olive oil, aromatic toma­toes and the home­made sour­dough and raw milk mozzarella from Biel.

Creations such as “vanilla bechamel sauce, shaved asparagus & Wiedik­erli sausages” and the Zurich buffalo milk soft ice cream with olive oil, salt and lemon crumble are surprising and make you want to come back and discover other seasonal dishes. By the way, as is well known, the eye eats with you and gets its money’s worth at Alba. The inte­rior design capti­vates with balanced color combi­na­tions of various recy­cled mate­rials and the service with illus­tra­tions by Karla Sutra provides an eye-catcher.
