Medical Magic. Acte­lion.

The idea “from medical industry to medical magic” forms the conceptual basis for the new logo of the biopharmaceutical company Actelion. Generated with the help of a specially developed exclusive software program, the pictures are based on the smallest possible units – the digital molecules. In a scientifically precise way that is not without poetry, they capture that moment in which the molecules give rise to a new medicine. Medical magic indeed!

Comments of the nominators

An outstanding work in the field of Corporate Design. In combination with the choice of colours, the independent and atmospherically appealing graphic realisation of the icons standard in the industry sets itself off notably from the visual statements of other pharmaceutical companies.
