Rinspeed Senso Concept Car

2005_Rinspeed_Senso_

The Rinspeed Senso is a concept car which has been designed with the aim of exploring new possibilities in the furtherance of road safety. The central focus here is on human error when driving and the development of suitable precautionary measures. With this end in view, the Rinspeed Senso can actually «feel» its driver. Two sensors take biometric readings, on the basis of which the on-board computer can form a judgment of the state of mind of the driver. Based on the conclusions it comes to, it will in case of need offer the driver impulses that speak to the senses, in the form of colours, patterns, music and scents, with a view to putting him in this way into a state of «relaxed alertness».
