Boschetto Garderoben-Paravent
In Italian boschetto means «grove». Here it designates a wardrobe of modular design which can also (above all in its used state) serve as a screen or room partition. Made of varnished steel tubing, the individual module consists of a high right-angled frame and a stylised tree trunk that is fastened upon it. Its up-wardly pointing truncated arms are for the clothes to hang on. Hinges make it possible to link together as many of these modules as you like. When they are arranged with a little space between them, this gives the entire structure adequate stability.
Comments of the nominators
A refreshingly simple, visually pleasing design that combines two different functions.
