reversibles Strickdesign von xess+baba

Knitting is a very ancient textile technology. Even modern knitted articles that are created with industrial machines are still based on the principle of the stitch. These machines, however, can create such fine stitches that the uninitiated will not even realise that the material has been produced by knitting. The xess+baba materials have been knitted in double face Jacquard, and so can be worn either way around. The limitation to a vertical linear design associated with this mode of production has been understood by Tina Grässli as a challenge to her design skills. With the multicolour patterned designs of xess+baba, she has presented a modern and thoroughly contemporary interpretation of knitted materials.
