Nominee | Fashion | 2007
the fox and the grapes

As a collection, «the fox and the grapes» reflects the designer’s aspiration to create an elegant fashion style that will stand the test of time, one that is emancipated from the short-lived trends of the fashion industry. A confrontation with the cultural history of fashion, and the consistent development and refinement of an original cutting technique, formed the basis for the design of a collection characterised by sharp silhouettes that cling to the body and a volume of clothing that deliberately hangs loose. The main decorative elements of «the fox and the grapes» that stand out are the consciously positioned lines of the cut.
Comments of the nominators
The collection testifies to a sound sense on the part of the designer for the cut and the textile volume – a solid basis for this refined, serious and uncompromising fashion style.
