Secret Garden
Dieser Stoff ist wahrhaftig wie ein Hauch von Nichts – ein Federgewicht von gerade einmal 10 Gramm pro Laufmeter. Ein ultrafeines Polyestergewebe, wahlweise mit Aluminium, Kupfer oder Bronze beschichtet und einseitig bedruckt mit einem zarten Blumendigitaldruck. Auf fast magische Weise changieren bei diesem Stoff Transparenz, kostbarer Schimmer und ephemere Blumenpracht.

The fascination of this textile is not just due to its lightness – even more, it has to do with the volatility of its visual appearance. Its enigmatic interplay of appearing and disappearing floral patterns gives rise to a cheerful mood of elation.

“Secret Garden” is one of those “magical” products with which designer Martin Leuthold and textile manufacturer Jakob Schlaepfer have repeatedly reenhanced their already outstanding international reputation. The technical perfection of the material, which shows most spectacularly in movement, has here been made entirely subservient to the poetic effect achieved.
