Lanuda

With Lanuda, Riccardo Blumer continues his research on seating, moving from the wood of Laleggera (1996) to aluminium. Both share the principle of radical reduction: while Laleggera uses minimal wooden thicknesses, Lanuda pushes the idea to the limit with 2–3 mm aluminium sheets, laser-cut and perforated to create a “nude” chair. Its structure consists of folded, riveted membranes forming geometric triangulations. Stackable and finished in black, Lanuda highlights graphic clarity and confirms Alias’ commitment to experimentation and innovation.
