The sofa and daybed “mo” is conceived as a response to the material-heavy, petroleum-based typology of conventional sofas. With a reduced structure and transparent construction, it enables repair, reupholstering, and reintegration into circular systems. Made from few, local materials: sheep’s wool for padding, antibacterial and moisture-regulating; robust linen from Emmental for the seat; and a fully demountable ash frame, glue-free with tapered joints. “mo” embodies lightness, durability, and craftsmanship, offering a sustainable alternative and a clear statement for circular design.
