The Heatable Capsule Collection by the fashion label AlphaTauri consists of heatable jackets and vests (one each for men and women) that can be worn regardless of the season. The collection was developed in cooperation between AlphaTauri, Deutsche Telekom and Schoeller Textil AG as part of Telekom’s Fashion Fusion program. The heating function of the jackets and vests is based on Schoeller’s heat-conducting lining (E-Soft-Shell®, the textile development was a DPS 2017 prize winner), which was integrated into the clothing in the pockets and in the lower back area. It interacts with the electronic components to distribute heat evenly. Even on the coldest winter days, hands and body should thus remain warm. The individual comfort temperature can be set either via an app or a control panel on the jacket. Energy is supplied to the heated components via a power bank integrated into the clothing, which can also be used to charge a smartphone on the go if required.
