Dimmer Verdunkelungsstoff
This product – the first of its kind in the world – consists of a microfibre tissue with an aesthetically ambitious front side and a light-absorbing reverse side. The basis for the conception was an original, paper-thin and flame-inhibiting microfilament. Easy to maintain, the tissue has a high density of warp and woof, the latter being reinforced with black threads; the finished material is then dyed. The front side is slightly roughened. This enhances the density of the material so that it acquires a satiny finish, making it soft to touch and giving it a special cachet.
Comments of the nominators
The fabric does what it is intended to, by making the room darker, in a quite self-evident way and unobtrusively.
