sWISH* – Wunschlandschaft Schweiz Ausstellung auf der Expo.02. Projektdauer zwei Jahre.
sWISH* reveals the wishes of 1000 individuals who were interviewed at a mobile studio in the course of the «Tour de sWISH». In the black pavilion these videos are shown in four separate grottos surrounded by a jungle of wooden stems, divided into wishes of the heart, wishes for a partner, wishes addressed to Switzerland or the universe and those relating to the different phases of life. Small figures from myth and fairytale invite visitors to enter the wishes of their heart on the touch-sensitive screen at the end of the pavilion. This wish of the heart will be projected under a glass floor onto the WishLake, from where it sinks down to the bottom of Lake Biel.
Comments of the nominators
An appealing exhibition, which looks at the «Wishscape» of the Swiss population in an affectionate, sometimes ironic manner. The visitor has the opportunity on the spot to add his or her own wishes to this archive collection.
