Nomade
The versatile furniture collection «Nomade» is composed of a system of parts made of laminated wood, whose common feature is a handle. The different table typologies and the stool are well balanced between system justice and independent expression. In terms of design, the furniture is inspired by the Japanese design tradition – calm in its formal language, high-quality in its workmanship. The various pieces of furniture are intended for versatile use in different room situations and are made by the Italian manufacturer True.
Comments of the jury
The versatile furniture system is designed for easy transport by means of reduced carrying handles. The furniture has a simple and contemporary design. The different volumes of plywood can be produced with only two moulds, which allows for cost-effective production. The playful character of the collection, tops and feet form a variety of furniture typologies in different combinations. Designer Luciano dell’Orefice creates a shapely throw with the design furniture series, tailored to the needs of the Italian furniture manufacturer True.
